Folk Dance Ensemble "Ibe Palikuqi"
had been established in 1979. It is one of the most famous Folk Dance Ensembles in Republic of Macedonia. Since the beginning of its existence, “Ibe Palikuqi” constantly represents and cultivates beauties of Albanian folklore in Macedonia. During the years this Ensemble took part in many national and international events and festivals, organized more than 700 concerts, recorded over 50 TV materials. Even though the Ensemble began its activities by creating a group, consisting of social active persons , now “Ibe Palikuqi” is said to have a high performing quality. As a proof of that stand positive critics’ and top rated folk experts evaluations posted in the newspapers, presented through various TV shows and radio programs. Recently “Ibe Palikuqi” has 150 members divided into three groups: orchestral group, adult dancers group and the group of young dancers. Each of the group brings remarkable successes to the Ensemble.
